Job summary

CORDE Ltd is seeking an experienced Drainage Foreman in Canterbury to lead a crew of three on drainage renewals and new infrastructure across Selwyn. You will manage day-to-day site activities, coordinating plant, labour and resources while maintaining onsite documentation and client relationships.

The role requires leadership ability, a track record in civil drainage, and a safety-first mindset. A NZ Driver Licence with WTR endorsements is preferred, with ongoing training and development

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Water or Pipeline Construction.
• Experience as Foreman or Leading Hand in Civil Construction/Drainage.
• CCC Authorised / NZ Registered (Preferable).
• A Class 1 Driver Licence with WTR endorsements.
• Proven leadership ability including mentorship and training.
• Clear communication and time management skills.
• Ability to work to and manage the work program.
• Physical fitness and a good work ethic.
• A safety-first mindset and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Lead a crew of three to deliver drainage renewals and new infrastructure across Selwyn.
• Provide day-to-day site leadership and coordinate plant, labour and resources.
• Manage onsite documentation, subcontractors, suppliers and client relationships.
