Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is seeking a Dental Manager to lead a skilled team across fixed and mobile clinics in the Waikato region. You will collaborate with fellow Dental Managers to oversee services for Western Waikato, Frankton and surrounds, ensuring high standards of professional conduct and patient care.

You will champion equity in oral health, manage budgets, and drive service delivery improvements while maintaining strong relationships with whānau and the community.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
• Experience in a leadership role, managing a team of ten or more people.
• Experience with budget management and knowledge of integrated service delivery.
• Strong communication skills with demonstrated capability to lead, influence, and confidently challenge when needed.
• Demonstrated ability to articulate complex matters with clarity and deliver appropriate, solutionsfocused recommendations.
• Previous experience managing a dental or medical practice is desirable but not essential.
