Job summary

Restaurant Brands in New Zealand is seeking a highly experienced Customer Insights Manager to lead our customer and market insights across KFC, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell and Carl’s Jr. You will partner with Finance Analytics and external agencies to translate data into actionable guidance for brand and pricing strategies.

The role leads research programs, manages insight platforms, and ensures the voice of the customer informs major initiatives, product testing, campaigns, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• A degree in Marketing, Social Science, Economics or related field is required.
• Degree or specialization in Market Research, Statistics, or behavioural science is preferred.
• 6-8 years of experience in customer insights, research, analytics, or strategic planning ideally within QSR, FMCG, retail, or consumer services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the customer insights agenda, designing end-to-end research projects and briefs.
• Partner with Brand Leaders to inform learning needs and establish a continuous learning loop.
• Lead qualitative and quantitative research projects and interpret data to develop strategic recommendations.
• Monitor consumer attitudes and trends to inform innovation and brand development.
• Encourage continuous improvement and upskill marketing teams in using insights.
