Stantec's Water team in New Zealand invites an experienced Principal Civil Engineer to lead major water projects across NZ and Australia. You will guide multi-disciplinary teams, manage client relationships, and help deliver sustainable, resilient infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in civil/water engineering.
• Proven track record delivering stormwater, water and/or wastewater projects.
• Collaborative approach with clients and colleagues nationwide.
• Ability to develop strong internal and external client relationships.
• Ability to oversee all aspects of project delivery and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development of proposals and business from local clients.
• Project technical lead to ensure outputs on time and on budget.
• Engage with key clients to understand needs and influence project outcomes.
• Lead team leads to foster technical development and delivery quality.
• Prepare cost estimates for design and construction.
• Prepare tender documents and project specifications.
