A leading educational organization is seeking a Lead Advisor Network to advise on the design and structure of the schooling network in Otago/Southland. We have a Permanent, Full-time position for the role ofLead Advisor Network, across Otago/Southland. This role could be employed from our Dunedin, Invercargill or Cromwell offices.
TheLead Adviser Networkleads advice on the long-term and medium-term structure and design of the schooling network. This supports regional office operational planning for education provision.
This requires working with Territorial Local Authorities (TLAs), schools and kura, ECE, boards of trustees, and other groups including government agencies, and regional and national Ministry of Education staff, in order to identify changing needs within the schooling network so that the Ministry is able to respond effectively.
Salary range:$99,496 - $120,690 per annum + 3% kiwi saver. The successful candidate will be appointed at a salary which reflects individual skills and experience.
To be successful in this role, you will have the following experience and capabilities:
Our team provides leadership and integrated services to the sector and others. This includes services such as learning support and education advice and regulation functions for schools and early learning services.
As a frontline group we develop and harness existing relationships with communities at the regional and local level through the Directors of Education, including deep relationships with iwi and hapū. Our Directors of Education have the lead role and relationship with early learning, kōhanga, school and kura, and this means they will be across all the services we provide at a local level.
We also collectively strengthen relationships with our diverse communities who support Māori, Pacific peoples, disabled ākonga and/or ākonga with learning support needs, and ākonga from disadvantaged backgrounds.
