Job summary

Helijobs.net in Franz Josef is seeking an experienced helicopter pilot to deliver premium scenic flights across South Westland, including Franz Josef and Fox Glacier. The role is a full-time line pilot based primarily in Franz Josef with a six-days on, two-days off roster.

Essential qualifications include NZ CPL(H), Class 1 Medical, and 1,500+ hours rotary, plus Hughes 500 and AS350 ratings. Weekend and holiday flexibility, external load experience, and mountain flying are preferred.

Qualifications

• NZ CPL(H) with current Class 1 Medical Certificate.
• Minimum 1500 hours rotary flight time.
• Hughes 500 and AS350 rating with operational experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scenic passenger operations including alpine landings.
• Perform aerial utility tasks such as long-line and charter flights.
• Operate safely in diverse mountain environments and variable weather.
