Job summary

Tyler Wren in New Zealand is seeking a Construction & Infrastructure Lawyer (Front-End) to join a top-tier firm. You will handle front-end procurement, drafting and negotiation for major projects, with exposure to landmark Auckland/Wellington developments and a structured path to senior levels.

Responsibilities

• Advise developers, contractors, institutional investors, and government entities on front-end procurement, contract drafting, structuring and negotiation.
• Work on large, complex infrastructure and urban development projects in Australasia.
• Collaborate with Partners and Senior Lawyers to develop commercial edge.

The Work & Calibre

You will advise developers, contractors, institutional investors, and government entities on front-end procurement, contract drafting, structuring, and negotiation.

You’ll work directly on some of the largest, most complex projects in Australasia, including:

• Auckland Airport Transformation: Multi-billion-dollar major terminal and airfield infrastructure upgrades.
• $1B+ Commercial & Retail Developments: Landmark urban precinct rebuilds and mixed-use commercial projects.
• National Transport & Energy Infrastructure: Major renewables, water, grid, and transit network projects across New Zealand.
