Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Lawyer, located in Dunedin. The Lawyer will be responsible for managing a caseload of property-related legal matters, including, wills, trusts, enduring powers of attorney, and relationship property agreements with some property sales and purchases. The Lawyer will provide expert legal advice, draft legal documents, and represent clients in negotiations. Collaboration with the dynamic team of legal professionals is also a key aspect of this role.

Qualifications
  • Expert knowledge and experience in Property Law
  • Experience in handling property sales and purchases, wills, trusts, refinances, enduring powers of attorney, and relationship property agreements
  • Excellent legal research, drafting, and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
  • Licensed to practice law in New Zealand
  • Prior experience in real estate law or a related field is a plus
