Job summary

Ryman Healthcare’s Bethlehem Village in Tauranga is seeking a part-time Laundry Assistant to manage laundering, sorting and delivery of linen and residents’ clothing within a warm, caring retirement village setting.

You will follow health and safety guidelines, support colleagues and contribute to a clean, comfortable environment for residents. Fixed rosters and the chance to be part of a supportive team are offered.

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our supportive team at Bob Owens Retirement Village in Bethlehem, Tauranga as Laundry Assistant. This is a part time position working Monday 1100-1500, Tuesday 1030-1330 and 1900-2200, Wednesday 1030-1330 and 1900-2200, Sunday 1100-1500.

In this role you will:

• Ensure the smooth and efficient laundering, sorting and delivery of linen and residents personal clothing
• Observe all health and safety precautions for the protection of residents, staff and visitors
• Work closely with, and support your colleagues
