Job summary

Woolworths Ltd. in Auckland is seeking a Last Mile Fleet Manager to oversee vehicle compliance, maintenance scheduling, and regional contractor oversight.

You will build strong relationships with store teams and business partners to ensure reliable delivery operations. You'll attend daily standups, contribute to safety campaigns, and resolve driver and customer issues while delivering a high standard of service across our regional network.

Qualifications

• Experience in fleet operations and fleet compliance.
• Knowledge of COF, engine services, and vehicle registrations.
• Strong coordination with store teams and partners.
• Ability to analyse maintenance scheduling and logistics.

You'll drive the successful implementation of initiatives and projects while building strong relationships with store teams and business partners.Your role is key to maintaining high standards and achieving operational excellence across the board.Some of the responsibilities include:Ensuring vehicle compliance and assisting in proactive maintenance scheduling and planning.Building a strong business relationship with our business partnersOverseeing all Independent contractors within a specific region.Make certain we offer an exceptional service.Utilise and move vehicles around regions in line with the BAU tasks.Actioning any driver complaints related to customers orders.Attend and contribute daily standup meetings.Contribute to our yearly safety campaigns.Hold 6 monthly 1:1 meetings with each contractor.What you’ll bring | Hei kohaYou’ll be collaborative and communicate well with teams and stakeholders.You will:Be proficient in fleet services, including COF, engine services, and registration.Be experienced with fleet chiller services and compressor maintenance.Ensure vehicle compliance with health and safety and conducted audits.Be skilled in using fleet management systems (Uptime, Fleetio, Eroad) for updates and managing truck movements/logistics.Manage vehicle repairs, maintenance, floater pay sheets, and rentals.Address driver/customer complaints, store lateness/routing issues, and handle incident reporting/H&S management.What you’ll experience - Ngā HuangaOngoing development within an ANZ team and access to COE/specialist career opportunitiesGrocery discount card and discounted online shopping deliveryBanking and insurance (health, life etc) discountsGlobal and local career opportunitiesEveryone belongs at Woolworths Group | No Woolworths tātouDiversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging are key to realising our purpose of better together for a better tomorrow.
