Job summary

Silver Fern Farms is seeking a meticulous Technical Administrator at the Finegand site to provide efficient administrative support to Laboratory and Technical Services, ensuring compliance and accurate records.

You will generate reports, coordinate documentation, support technical processes, and contribute to projects and continuous improvement in a fast-paced operational environment. Standard hours are Mon–Fri 8am to 4:30pm, with opportunities to develop your career within the team.

Qualifications

• Experience in administration, quality, laboratory or technical support is advantageous.
• High accuracy and attention to detail in record keeping and reporting.
• Strong communication and collaborative approach with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Providing administrative support to the Laboratory and Technical teams.
• Generating and distributing laboratory reports, letters and technical documentation.
• Preparing, filing and archiving reports, records and laboratory worksheets.
• Supporting customer enquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Assisting with report writing, including traceability, recall and KPI reporting.
• Recording meeting minutes and maintaining technical documentation.
• Contributing to projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the department.
• Assisting with the review and improvement of procedures and systems.
