Kiwi Lumber is seeking a fully registered electrician for an on-site role in Masterton, NZ, focusing on automation, production flow and electrical maintenance. You will work closely with team members and contractors to ensure reliable operations.

You will plan and execute electrical maintenance, diagnose faults, coordinate with multiple departments and tune machine centres. The role offers training, development and a clear pathway within a growing sawmilling company.

Qualifications

• Must be a fully registered electrician.
• Experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical/control and PLC systems.

Responsabilités

• Plan, manage and execute electrical maintenance.
• Eliminate breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
• Diagnose root causes of faults and make recommendations.
• Coordinate and perform administrative duties as needed.
• Sequence and tune machine centres on site.

This is a key position that will have a strong focus on automation, production flow and electrical issues on site. Working closely with several key team members and contractors, responsibilities are varied and will include:

• Planning/managing and executing electrical maintenance
• Breakdown elimination and corrective actions
• Root cause diagnosis of a broad range of faults/issues and making recommendations to address
• Coordination and administrative related duties
• Undertaking sequencing and tuning of machine centres

THE ROLE:

The successful applicant will have the following skills/qualities:

You will be a fully registered electrician and have experience in a similar role in an industrial/manufacturing business. You will also possess a sound knowledge of mechanical/control and PLC systems.
