About the role

Falstone Hospitality Limited is seeking dedicated and skilled kitchen staff to join our team in the Heart of the Mackenzie Country, Twizel, Canterbury. As a member of our kitchen staff, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and contribute to the overall success of our hospitality operations.

What you'll be doing

Assisting the head chef and sous chefs in the preparation and cooking of high-quality meals

Maintaining a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen environment

Adhering to all food safety and health regulations

Collaborating with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service

Continuously learning and improving your culinary skills

Contributing to the development and implementation of new menu items

What we're looking for

Previous experience working in a professional kitchen environment, preferably within the hospitality industry

A passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality, innovative cuisine

Strong time management, multitasking and problem-solving skills

The ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure

Good communication and interpersonal skills

A keen eye for detail and a commitment to food safety and hygiene standards
