Job summary

Novotel Wellington is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Hand to support our kitchen operations and keep the workspace clean and organised. You will assist with basic food prep, dishwashing, waste management, and general kitchen support while following health and safety guidelines.

The role requires a flexible roster including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays. Prior kitchen experience is helpful but not essential; strong organisational skills and teamwork are key.

Qualifications

• Ability to work a flexible roster including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Motivated and driven.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Previous experience as a Kitchen Hand is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Willingness to follow instructions and learn new tasks.
• Availability for the specified fixed-term duration.
• Must be a New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or hold a valid work visa/permit.
