Job summary

RealNZ invites applications for a Kitchen Hand at Walter Peak - Colonel's Homestead. You will be responsible for cleaning dishes and kitchen equipment, maintaining high hygiene, and keeping the kitchen and galley areas clean and organized to support our chefs.

You will assist with stock handling, help with general kitchen tasks, and contribute to smooth operations across our Queenstown operations. A strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential, with kitchen or cleaning experience

Want to be part of the team behind one of Queenstown's most iconic dining experiences? We're on the lookout for a reliable and hard-working Kitchen Hand to join the crew at Walter Peak - Colonel's Homestead.

As Kitchen Hand, you'll be a key part of keeping the kitchen running smoothly. You'll ensure dishes are cleaned efficiently, workspaces are spotless, and everything is in place for our chefs to work their magic. It's a behind-the-scenes role that's absolutely essential to the success of our food service.

What you'll be doing:

You'll take responsibility for cleaning dishes and kitchen equipment, maintaining high hygiene standards, and keeping the kitchen and galley areas clean and organised at all times. You'll help with stock handling, support the team with general kitchen tasks, and contribute to the overall smooth running of our Queenstown operations. Safety - for customers and staff - is always a top priority.

What you'll bring:

We're looking for someone with a strong work ethic, great attention to detail, and the ability to stay calm and focused under pressure. Previous kitchen or cleaning experience is a bonus, but what matters most is your attitude and willingness to pitch in.
