Job summary

Central Kids seeks a motivated kaiako to support tamariki and whānau toward their full potential. The role focuses on strong partnerships under Te Tiriti o Waitangi, leadership in bicultural practice, and nurturing Te Reo Māori me ona Tikanga within our learning environment.

We value advocates for tamariki who build trusted relationships with families and the wider community while upholding health, safety, aroha, mana, tiaki, and manaaki across early childhood settings.

Qualifications

• Entitled to work in Aotearoa, New Zealand and hold a current practising certificate.
• Hold a valid first aid certification - level 1 or higher.
• Demonstrates strong advocacy for tamariki and whānau.
• Understands and applies Te Tiriti o Waitangi based partnerships with tamariki and whānau.
• Committed to Te Reo Māori me ona Tikanga and bicultural leadership.

Kaiako Māraurau - Teacher | Permanent | Full-time

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic kaiako to join our teams in supporting tamariki and whānau to achieve their full potential.
