Job summary

Central Kids Ōwhata is seeking a motivated kaiako to join our team, supporting tamariki and whānau to achieve their full potential. This permanent, full-time role emphasizes bicultural leadership and collaboration within our kaiako team.

You will work in a kaupapa that values Te Tiriti o Waitangi, Te Reo Māori me ona Tikanga, and strong connections with whānau and community, with professional development opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 7 Teaching qualification specialising in ECE.
• Must hold current practising certificate.
• Must hold a valid first aid certification - level 1 or higher.
• Demonstrates commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi partnerships with tamariki and whānau.

Responsibilities

• Support tamariki and whānau to achieve their full potential.
• Create and maintain strong relationships with the wider community and outside agencies.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic kaiako to join our teams in supporting tamariki and whānau to achieve their full potential.
