Job summary

Te Poi School invites a NZ registered teacher to join our small rural team in the junior area for Years 1–8. The role covers English, Health and Physical Education, Mathematics and Statistics, Science, Social Sciences, Te Reo Māori and The Arts, with a focus on engaging learners across the primary/intermediate spectrum.

We seek a creative, enthusiastic, collaborative educator who is passionate about learning and excellence, and who is willing to contribute to school life beyond the classroom.

Qualifications

• NZ registered teacher with junior/Years 1–8 guidance.
• Experience teaching primary/intermediate learners.
• Willing to contribute to school life beyond class.
• Interest in Enviroschools or school libraries is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Teach in junior area (Years 1–8) across English, Health and Physical Education, Mathematics and Statistics, Science, Social Sciences, Te reo Māori, The Arts.
