Full time, Fixed term, Start Date: 27/01/2026, End Date: 15/12/2026 (Cover for Tier 2 Literacy and Numeracy Project)

Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacher
English, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Māori, The arts

We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Scale A junior teachers who can make a positive difference and who value community and manaakitanga.

We have 2 fixed-term positions to cover teachers who are undertaking Tier 2 Literacy and Numeracy Projects.

Our ideal teacher will:

  • Take a relational, student-centred approach to learning
  • Provide a pathway to ensure students met high expectations
  • Be a proactive, collaborative, and supportive team member who inspires and engages students and colleagues
