We are seeking a professional and enthusiastic Junior Teacher to join our team in a permanent position starting Monday 26 January, 2026. This role is focused on teaching our youngest learners, and we place high value on ensuring a supportive and positive transition to school for both our students and their whānau.

Key skills and experience:

  • Must have NZ teacher registration and a current Practising Certificate.
  • Experience with or knowledge of the structured literacy program (BSLA) and the structured numeracy programs (Numicon, Maths No Problem).
  • Experience with play-based learning or similar inquiry approaches.
  • Pedagogical strengths in literacy and numeracy.
  • Successful experience working with students who have diverse learning needs.
