Job summary

Basis Developments in New Zealand is seeking a junior software developer to learn our warehouse management platform, support ongoing product development and gradually design new functionality. You will work to balance proven enterprise software with moving toward a modern SaaS architecture.

Initially you'll learn existing systems, then design features, liaise with senior developers, and contribute to future product architecture.

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Strong SQL and database fundamentals.
• Experience with C#, .NET or similar modern programming languages.
• An understanding of relational database design.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Curious and self-motivated; fast learner who enjoys mastering new technologies.
• Comfortable working independently.
• Happy to ask questions when needed.
• Someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems.
