Job summary

Arakura School in Wellington is seeking an additional kaiako for our junior school team, Whānau Teina Y0-3. This permanent, full‑time position supports Years 0–3 with a strong emphasis on inclusion, te reo Māori and tikanga capability.

As a Certificated teacher, you will contribute to our PB4L School Wide and restorative approaches and collaborate with staff to uphold our vision and values within a collegial learning community.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certificated teacher.
• Experience in primary/junior settings preferred.
• Commitment to inclusion and reo Māori development.

Responsibilities

• Teach across Years 0–3 in Whānau Teina Y0-3.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and support student wellbeing.
• Uphold PB4L School Wide and restorative practices.
