Job summary

TSMG Holding is seeking a detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee autonomous vehicle testing programs in Wellington. You will coordinate field operations, testing teams, and technology partners to ensure safe, compliant execution and timely delivery of project milestones.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Project Management, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of project management experience in automotive, mobility, transportation, or technology domains.
  • Strong understanding of autonomous vehicle systems, safety protocols, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and large-scale field operations.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, MS Project, Asana) and reporting dashboards.

  • Plan, manage, and oversee end-to-end autonomous vehicle testing projects from preparation to execution and reporting.
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria with engineering, safety, and regulatory teams.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including test drivers, safety operators, data analysts, and engineers.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements for AV testing.
  • Monitor project progress, risks, and dependencies with proactive issue resolution to maintain timelines.

Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and forward-thinking Project Manager to oversee autonomous vehicle (AV) testing projects. This role combines strong project management expertise with knowledge of emerging mobility technologies. The Project Manager will coordinate field operations, testing teams, and technology partners to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant execution of AV testing programs.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Plan, manage, and oversee end-to-end autonomous vehicle testing projects, from preparation to execution and reporting
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with engineering, safety, and regulatory teams
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including test drivers, safety operators, data analysts, and engineers
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety and regulatory requirements for AV testing
  • Monitor project progress, risks, and technical dependencies; proactively resolve issues to maintain timelines and quality standards
  • Track and report testing metrics, including safety performance, operational data, and outcomes
  • Facilitate communication between internal teams, external stakeholders, and technology partners
  • Support integration of AI, simulation tools, and sensor technologies into test operations
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Project Management, or related field
  • 3-5 years of project management experience in automotive, mobility, transportation, or technology domains
  • Strong understanding of autonomous vehicle systems, safety protocols, and regulatory frameworks
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and large-scale field operations
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Asana) and reporting dashboards
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and stakeholder communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience with AV testing, ADAS systems, or vehicle validation projects
  • Familiarity with sensor suites (LiDAR, radar, camera systems) and data collection tools
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum Master)
  • Knowledge of AI-driven mobility technologies and simulation testing environments
