Qualifications

Job description

Support the delivery of large-scale commercial construction projects in Wellington’s CBD. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on complex, high-profile builds. You’ll assist in managing projects from early contractor involvement through to completion, overseeing QA systems, planning, coordination of documentation and trades, while helping site teams to deliver outstanding results for key clients.

Please note: this is a fixed term position until February 2026 with potential for a permanent position thereafter.

What’s Required

  • 3–4 years’ experience in commercial construction within New Zealand, ideally working for a main contractor
  • Experienced in project coordination and/or QA systems
  • Studying towards or holding a Bachelor of Construction (or similar)
  • Ability to review drawings, assist with planning, and support contract management
  • Strong communicator with problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach
  • Tech savvy with working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Project
