About the Firm

This well-respected boutique CA firm, located in Auckland’s city fringe, is on the lookout for a Junior to Intermediate BAS Accountant. Known for their high staff retention, the team operates like a family—many have worked together for years. They pride themselves on strong client relationships and a stable, traditional approach to public practice.

You’ll be hands-on preparing financial statements and managing compliance across a diverse range of clients and entities with annual turnovers up to $40M. The environment encourages autonomy, with direct access to a down-to-earth Director whenever you need support or a second opinion.

This is a rare opening and an excellent long-term move for someone looking to grow in a supportive and established firm.

About You

You will have:

  • A Bachelor of Commerce, Master of Professional Accounting, or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of current BAS experience in a public practice firm
  • Ideally, you’ve begun your CA studies
  • Experience using MYOB AO
  • Strong communication skills – both verbal and written
