Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior External Envelope Engineer to join our team in Auckland. In this role you will work collaboratively within a multi-discipline environment, to provide expert advice and assist the delivery of high-quality technical reports.

You will work with a highly motivated team who are passionate about what they do, and where they can make a difference.

On a day-to-day basis, you will:

• Produce high-quality engineering designs and technical specifications, with a focus on glass applications including balustrades, façades, glazing, canopies, and flooring.
• Provide timely, professional technical and engineering support to clients.
• Assist the Associate Principal with the preparation of project bids and tenders.
• Ensure project delivery aligns with budget, timelines, and quality expectations.
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients and consenting authorities.
• Liaise with clients and multidisciplinary teams on façade-related issues.
• Collaborate with architects to develop façade concepts and generate tender documentation.
• Conduct preliminary engineering design and structural checks of façades and architectural features.
• Carry out site inspections of installations when required.
• Prepare accurate technical reports and contribute to peer review processes.
• Support process planning and quality control to uphold company standards.
• Foster strong client relationships to encourage repeat business.

What you will bring:

· Bachelor of Engineering (Preferably Mechanical or Structural);

· Excellent communication skills; written and spoken;
