The Warehouse Group is seeking a Junior Continuous Improvement Team Member to join their Network Operations team in Auckland. This role focuses on driving measurable gains in the distribution network through analytics and process optimization. The ideal candidate will have a relevant tertiary qualification and strong analytical skills, with opportunities for growth and development within a supportive team environment.

As a Junior Continuous Improvement Team Member, you’ll sit within Network Operations and partner with our logistics leadership to drive measurable gains across TWG’s distribution network. You’ll blend advanced analytics, process optimisation and change-management expertise to forecast resourcing needs, refine workflows and embed a culture of continuous improvement.
You’ll bring a growth mindset, solid analytical skills, and a proactive approach to solving problems. In return, we’ll support you with learning, mentoring and development as you build your supply chain and CI expertise.
You’ll be responsible for:
Support Capacity Planning & Forecasting
Help maintain forecasting models that track labour, space and equipment needs across the network
Assist in analysing seasonal and promotional data to identify resource or workflow impacts
Work with planning and operations teams to ensure the right inputs flow into business decisions
Performance Reporting & Analytics
Build and update Power BI or Excel dashboards that help monitor key metrics like throughput, accuracy and stock flow
Present simple insights that highlight trends or performance opportunities
Support weekly reporting cycles and performance reviews
Process Improvement Projects
Participate in workshops and improvement initiatives (e.g. root cause analysis, value stream mapping)
Document processes, collect data and help track benefits from CI projects
Stay curious and contribute fresh ideas that could improve how we work
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
Build relationships with key contacts in Operations, Engineering and Analytics teams
Share updates, raise issues and ask questions to help keep projects moving
Champion continuous improvement culture across your area and share quick wins
A relevant tertiary qualification (Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Data/Analytics or related)
1–2 years' experience in a supply chain, logistics, CI or operational support role (internships or grad roles welcome)
Strong analytical skills – comfortable working in Excel, with exposure to BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
Some understanding of Lean, Six Sigma or continuous improvement concepts
Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to work with a variety of teams
A positive, can-do attitude and desire to learn and grow within a high-performing team
