Looking for your next big opportunity in joinery? Whether you're an experienced craftsman or a trade-qualified joiner, Tradestaff has roles waiting for you in the thriving Hawkes Bay region.

What’s on offer:

We have multiple openings across residential, commercial, and factory-based joinery environments. If you're skilled in cabinetry, staircases, bespoke timber work, or window and door installations, we want to hear from you. You’ll be working with modern equipment and quality materials in varied and engaging projects.

What we’re looking for:

To be successful, you’ll need:

  • 3+ years of joinery or cabinetmaking experience (on-site or factory-based)
  • Confidence reading and interpreting basic plans
  • Skilled in using hand and power tools—jigsaws, routers, planers, etc.
  • Ability to assemble, cut, and fit materials like timber, plasterboard, and panels
  • Shop fit-out experience (bonus but not essential)
  • CNC or edge banding experience (bonus but not essential)

You’ll also need to have:

  • Trade qualification (preferred but not essential if you have strong experience)
  • Your own tools and reliable transport
  • A solid commitment to Health & Safety
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Two work references
  • Class 1 driver licence (advantageous)
