Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. in New Zealand is seeking an Inventory Lead to manage inventory control across the distribution centre, improving accuracy, efficiency and data integrity.

You will perform cycle counting, stock reconciliation, replenishment, slotting, and stock receipt, while partnering with IT and other teams to drive improvements. A strong background in SAP and warehouse systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a similar distribution centre role.
• Strong systems capability with SAP and warehouse management systems.
• Good analytical skills and ability to investigate discrepancies and drive improvements.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Organised and able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory control activities to improve accuracy, efficiency, and data integrity across the distribution centre.
• Complete key inventory tasks including cycle counting, product slotting, stock consolidation, replenishment, stock receipt, reconciliation, reporting, and SKU data maintenance.
• Monitor and review storage and inventory systems to meet supply requirements and control stock levels.
• Prepare and implement plans to maintain stock levels at minimum cost.
• Support the annual stock take process and investigate inventory adjustments.
• Identify opportunities to improve DC systems and processes with IT and internal stakeholders.
