Job summary

Unichem Pharmacy in New Zealand is offering an Intern Pharmacist role within a leading health and wellness team. You will assist in the Dispensary and learn under a preceptor, gaining hands-on dispensing experience and exposure to vaccines, health checks, and patient care.

The position is full-time (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday) with a supportive team and opportunities for growth as you complete your pharmacy training and registration in NZ.

Qualifications

• Be in final year of a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree with Pharmacy experience in NZ.
• Be enrolled (or planning to enrol) in the EVOLVE Intern Training Programme.
• Obtain provisional registration with the Pharmacy Council of NZ under the Intern Scope of Practice before starting.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Motivated and dedicated to continual improvement of self and the business.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day operations in the Dispensary and provide accurate dispensing under supervision.
• Learn about Dispensary operations, the Pharmacy Retail business and how it operates.
• Grow clinical knowledge and confidence in a supportive community-loved pharmacy environment.
