Job description

We have a great opportunity for an intermediate planner to join our busy Christchurch team. The work is varied, ranging from residential, commercial, and rural redevelopment to large-scale comprehensive infrastructure and land development projects. We require someone who has strong communication skills and enjoys working in a multi-disciplinary practice of engineers, surveyors, and planners. We work in an exciting and dynamic environment, where we provide you with the support and training to succeed.

The ideal applicant will demonstrate the following:

  • a resource management or NZ planning qualification and an interest in attaining MNZPI
  • a minimum of two years of relevant New Zealand experience
  • experience in District and/or Regional Consenting with a focus on land development and discharges to land and water
  • excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • experience working with other experts such as architects, landscape architects, urban designers, acoustic, and transport engineers
