Job summary

Woods Bagot in Auckland is seeking an Interior Designer with 6–10 years of interior design or interior architecture experience, preferably in hospitality and residential sectors. You will contribute to a design-led environment and produce compelling documentation.

Fluent in Revit, Adobe InDesign and Photoshop, with experience in Enscape or rendering tools, coordinating with consultants and suppliers, and communicating design intent both visually and verbally within a collaborative studio.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years' interior design or interior architecture experience (hospitality/residential preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design / Interior Architecture.
• Strong Revit proficiency and design communication skills.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop).
• Experience with Enscape or rendering software.
• Experience coordinating with consultants and managing stakeholder engagement.
• Strong documentation including schedules and specifications.
• Ability to liaise with suppliers and consultants.
• Clear, collaborative communication with a proactive approach.

About the Opportunity

We’re seeking an Interior Designer to join our Auckland studio. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a high-quality, design‑led environment.

About You

• 6-10 years of relevant Interior Design or Interior Architecture experience, with experience in hospitality and residential projects (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design / Interior Architecture (or equivalent)
• Strong design capability, with a well-developed eye for detail and a confident design voice
• Strong Revit capability
• Adobe Creative Suite skills (InDesign and Photoshop essential)
• Some experience using Enscape or rendering software ideal
• Ability to communicate design intent visually and verbally
• Experience with consultant coordination meetings and managing stakeholder engagement
• Strong documentation capability, including coordinated schedules and specifications
• Ability to confidently liaise with suppliers and consultants
• Clear and compelling communication skills, both verbally and visually, with a collaborative and proactive approach
