Job summary

Consult Recruitment in Auckland seeks an ERP project lead to manage Dynamics BC implementations, oversee vendor relationships, and align project accounting with business goals.

You will own the build, design workflows, and eventually develop bespoke reports, with training and post-go-live support as part of the rollout.

About the Role

Managing the build programme of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central ERP setup to replace legacy financial software in conjunction with an appointed implementation partner. You will take complete ownership of vendor relationships, facilitate project accounting design, and system workflows plus longer term once embedded there might be scope to look into building bespoke reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage key implementation vendor relationships and deliver project milestones.
• Support on system analysis, design workflows, and build custom financial reports longer term.
• Direct build schedules to align general ledger structures across entities.
• Configure project accounting frameworks and streamline complex operational transaction flows.
• Deliver user acceptance testing, staff training, and post-go-live support.

So Who Are You And What Is Your Profile?

• Demonstrated experience ideally leading Microsoft Dynamics Business Central ERP implementations. For the right person with a strong projects background we are open to someone who has led implementations of other finance systems.
• Strong finance background with an understanding of everything from transactions up to board-level financial reporting capability.
• Proven understanding of project accounting within commercial project environments.
• Skilled vendor manager who connects technical build with business objectives.
• Relevant tertiary accounting qualification or equivalent commercial system expertise.
