The role covers strategic and operational intelligence to inform resource deployment, crime understanding, and evidence-based action at domestic and international levels.

The National Intelligence Centre is seeking one permanent Intelligence Analyst to join the Analytics and Intelligence Operations team within the National Intelligence Centre. This position would suit an Intelligence professional wanting to work in a dynamic and varied environment.
The Analytics and Intelligence Operations team cover a wide range of topics, focusing on strategic and operational intelligence at both domestic and international levels. Outputs are used to inform deployment of resources, understand the criminal environment and crime problems, facilitate evidence-based action and prevention, and support Police staff with planning and intelligence support to major events.
As an Intelligence Analyst, you will demonstrate professional curiosity and adaptive approaches by applying a range of structured analytical tools and methodologies to complex problems and issues. You will use critical thinking to produce accurate, relevant and timely intelligence analysis on policing issues and intelligence problems, supporting planning and decision making at the strategic level.

This position is covered by a collective agreement and salary will commence between $88,179 and $101,804 dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
