Job summary

Southern Cross Health Insurance in Auckland is building a new Data & AI function and seeks a role focused on scoping, embedding and adoption of AI-driven change across the business. You’ll work with the Intelligence Adoption Lead and the Intelligence & Automation Engineer, running discovery, shaping workflows and coaching teams through new ways of working to deliver tangible value.

This is not an engineering role, but requires technical fluency to translate analytics into practical operations

Qualifications

• Strong capability in workflow and operational redesign.
• Experience in organisational change, adoption and embedding new ways of working.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement across technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Intelligence Adoption Lead, Intelligence & Automation Engineer and stakeholders from scoping through rollout, translating solutions into operational workflows.
• Run discovery sessions to understand existing processes, workflows and ways of working.
• Map current-state and future-state processes to identify friction and inefficiency.
• Facilitate workshops to redesign workflows around new intelligent capability and automation.
• Coach teams through new operating models and ways of working, including AI-enabled decision-making.
• Identify and remove blockers to adoption (organisational, behavioural, process).
• Lead change planning, communication and rollout of new operating models.
• Track adoption and operational performance to ensure value delivery.
• Define ownership, accountability and sustainability once a solution goes live.
