Instructional Assistants

Job Description

St. Francis of Assisi Catholic School is seeking full-time instructional assistants for the 2025-2026 school year. Instructional assistants are assigned to a PK-5 classroom and work closely with the lead teacher. Duties and responsibilities can include:

  1. Teaching students in small groups
  2. Supervising students during lunch/recess
  3. Collaborating with the teacher on grading and preparing materials for instruction

Ideal candidates have a deep devotion to the Catholic faith, experience working with children, strong collaboration skills, and a willingness to be flexible. Applicants must submit a completed application to the Diocese of Arlington and hold a high school diploma.
