Job description

Installation Specialist - Noel Leeming, Queenstown

• Full-time
• Contract Type: Permanent

At Noel Leeming, our people make the difference. We help Kiwis get the most out of their technology, from finding the right product in store to delivering and installing it at home. That full, start-to-finish service is what our customers rely on us for, and it's our teams who make it happen.

Good attitude? Happy to get stuck in? Keen to learn? We can teach you the rest.

We're looking for two Installation Specialists to join our small, tight-knit team in Queenstown. You'll deliver and install whiteware like washing machines, fridges and dryers in customers' homes. You're often the last person from Noel Leeming the customer sees, so you'll be the one who leaves them smiling.

What your day looks like

• Out on the road with your teammate, delivering and installing appliances around the Queenstown area
• Chatting with customers and working out the best way to get their new appliance into the house
• Unpacking, installing and testing so everything works before you leave
• Taking away old appliances and packaging when needed
• Solving problems on the go, whether it's a tight hallway, an awkward laundry or a tricky install

Hours of work

• Monday to Friday8:30am - 5:30pm

Who we're looking for

A great attitude matters more to us than your CV. You'll suit this role if you:

• Are friendly and enjoy talking with people
• Take pride in doing a job properly
• Back your teammates and stay positive on busy days
• Want a long-term role you can grow in

You'll need

• The fitness for a physical job: heavy lifting, ladders and being on your feet all day
• The right to work in New Zealand

Nice to have, but not essential

• Experience in delivery, trades, handy work or other hands-on jobs
• Experience driving larger vehicles

What's in it for you

• A competitive starting rate
• Team discounts at The Warehouse, Warehouse Stationery and Noel Leeming
• A paid day off on your birthday
• Training and development to keep building your skills
• A supportive local team, backed by a big national network
• Working with the latest tech every day
