Qualifications

  • Proven strengths in numeracy and literacy learning design.
  • Experience with PB4L and Restorative Practice frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Numeracy, literacy and ESOL support: conduct diagnostic assessments to identify learning gaps and provide targeted strategies.
  • Innovative and co-teaching: adapt lesson plans and pedagogy across team-teaching contexts.
  • Lead IEP development, implementation and review with students, whānau and key stakeholders.
  • Maintain timetable flexibility across varied timetables and settings.
  • Lead Whare Āhuru form class and embed PB4L and Restorative Practice.
  • Support social transitions and foster positive social skills.
  • Collaborate with Learning Support, Learning Area Heads, Hauora team and SLT; engage in professional growth cycles.
  • Demonstrate relational pedagogy and culturally responsive practice.
