Marewa School in Hawke's Bay, New Zealand, is seeking two passionate kaiako to join our team for Term 1, 2027. We value trauma-informed practice, strong curriculum knowledge, and deep engagement with te ao Māori. The successful applicants will build positive relationships with tamariki, whānau and aiga, and contribute to a collaborative school culture.

• Ability to build positive, genuine relationships with tamariki, whānau and aiga.
• Provide engaging, differentiated learning opportunities that respond to diverse needs and interests.
• Value te ao Māori and honour the identity, language and culture of ākonga while growing your own understanding.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with kaiako to create a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Design and deliver curriculum-aligned learning experiences across year levels 1–8.
• Contribute to a positive team culture and leadership opportunities for the right candidate.
• Engage with whānau and community to support student wellbeing and achievement.
