Job summary

Anglican Care Waiapu’s Waiapu Kids St Marys Tahatai in the Bay of Plenty seeks an energetic ECE Teacher for a permanent 27.75 hours/week role, Monday to Thursday with two late finishes and one early start. You will plan child-led play-based learning, build strong relationships with tamariki and whānau, and contribute to a respectful bicultural environment.

Qualifications

• Full NZ teacher registration and a recognised ECE qualification.
• Confidence in planning and implementing a child-led, play based curriculum.
• Thrives in a team environment where innovation, connection and equity are encouraged.
• Commitment to Te Tiriti based practice, Te Reo and Tikanga Māori or a willingness to grow in this space.
• Strong knowledge of Te Whāriki and the ability to plan and assess for children’s learning. Strong teaching practice.
