Job summary

Beststart in Hamilton is seeking an experienced Kaiako to nurture curious minds and foster positive learning experiences for tamariki. This role offers a warm, whānau-focused centre and opportunities to grow through leadership development and ongoing professional support.

You are an experienced Kaiako with curriculum passion, strong parent whānau partnerships, and a commitment to respectful care and child development. NZ residency or valid work visa is required.

Qualifications

• ECE qualified and registered Teacher with a current NZ provisional or full practising certificate.
• NZ residency or valid NZ work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Permanent, full-time (40 hours/week), Monday to Friday.
• Deliver fun-filled learning experiences.
• Embrace the local curriculum with enthusiasm.
• Builds strong partnerships with parents and whānau.
• Practices respectful care as a core teaching value.
• Understands the developmental and emotional needs of babies.
