Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is recruiting a Dietitian to join Wellington Regional Hospital's inpatient surgical services. The role is permanent, part-time (0.8 FTE / 32 hours per week) and based at Wellington Regional Hospital with potential rotation to other locations.

You will provide dietetic care to patients in the surgical ward, contribute to service improvement, and participate in on-call rosters after competency development.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years clinical experience in an inpatient setting, some of which in surgical services.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with the multidisciplinary team.
• Experience working with Māori & Pacific populations desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide dietetic care to surgical inpatients.
• Participate in service improvement and resource development.
• May participate in weekend on-call roster after competency completion.
