Job summary

Metlifecare is seeking 2 experienced Activities Coordinators to support our residents at our brand-new Care Home at Fairway Gardens in Golflands, East Auckland.

Two permanent positions are available, working either full time or part time, with one weekend shift and weekend allowance. You will plan and implement an innovative activities program, liaise with families and staff, and assist residents to participate in organized activities.

Qualifications

• Careerforce Level 4 or equivalent qualification.
• Current Full Driver's Licence and First Aid Certificate preferred.
• Previous experience in aged care and a desire to learn and develop your skill set.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement an innovative activities program.
• Liaise with families and staff to participate in leisure activities.
• Assist residents to participate in organized activities.
