About the Role

As our business growth continues, we are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to ensure the reliable operation of technology infrastructure across our retirement village network while providing comprehensive technical support. This role focuses on maintaining critical infrastructure systems through proactive monitoring, partner coordination, and operational support, with an emphasis on day-to-day infrastructure management and implementation support.

Based in our Newmarket Support Office and reporting to the Village Infrastructure (IT) Manager, we support a hybrid working model where you will have the flexibility to balance your work environment.

Key Accountabilities
  1. Execute proactive monitoring of critical village infrastructure utilizing established frameworks and tools.
  2. Identify and remediate potential issues before they impact service delivery.
  3. Support monitoring and maintenance of various network infrastructure (e.g., LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, Firewall), nurse call and emergency response systems, building security, and access control systems.
  4. Coordinate incident investigation and resolution with partners.
  5. Maintain accurate system documentation and configuration records.
  6. Provide technical guidance to Service Desk on domain-specific issues.
About You

You will have a relevant IT qualification and approximately 3-5 years of experience in infrastructure and network support. Strong knowledge of network protocols, security systems, VoIP, communication systems, audiovisual technologies, and infrastructure monitoring tools is essential. Experience with healthcare technology systems such as nurse call and emergency response systems is highly desirable.
