Contact Energy is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to manage Linux and Windows servers, VMware, and automation through Ansible. You will work across various technologies in a collaborative squad, contributing to resilient platforms and scalable infrastructure for the business.

The role offers flexibility to work from Contact’s hubs in Wellington, Auckland or Tauranga, with on-call opportunities and a broad exposure to enterprise-grade environments.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience supporting Linux and Windows Server environments.
Working knowledge of VMware.
Experience using Ansible or similar automation tooling.
Experience building, operating or improving infrastructure platforms.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders.
A collaborative approach to problem solving and delivery.
