Job summary

Webuild S.p.A. in Christchurch is seeking a Compliance Lead to oversee project-wide compliance systems, governance processes and regulatory obligations across a major New Zealand infrastructure joint venture.

You will lead audits, investigations and assurance activities, provide advice to project leadership, liaise with regulators and clients, and foster a culture of integrity, accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in compliance, governance, risk, assurance or regulatory management within major infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of legislative, regulatory and contractual compliance obligations.
• Experience implementing and maintaining compliance frameworks and governance systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project compliance systems and governance processes.
• Monitor compliance with legislation, regulations and contract requirements.
• Provide compliance advice to project leadership and functions.
• Coordinate assurance activities, inspections and audits across the project.
• Track compliance risks and implement mitigation actions and corrective measures.
• Prepare compliance reports, action registers and dashboards for leadership.
