Job Overview

Join EIL Global as an Information Technology Support Engineer, specializing in providing technical support and solutions for a wide range of IT infrastructure components. This is a mid-level position based in Auckland, Bluff, New Plymouth District, and Christchurch. We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience. This role offers flexible working arrangements as it is a part-time, contractual position.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of 4 years experience in IT support with proven expertise in managing and troubleshooting IT infrastructure.
  • Proficient in Active Directory management for user account administration and group policy implementation.
  • Strong skills in Windows Server Management, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of server environments.
  • Experienced in performing network troubleshooting to resolve connectivity issues and optimize performance.
  • Capability to provide remote desktop support to assist users in resolving technical issues remotely.
  • Expertise in IT support functions, including hardware and software problem-solving for end-users.
  • Familiarity with imaging and reimaging techniques for efficient deployment and management of workstations.
  • Ability to configure and troubleshoot Outlook and other email clients effectively to ensure seamless communication.
  • Strong desktop support skills with a focus on providing proactive and reactive solutions. (Mandatory skill)

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for desktop, server, and network systems to ensure maximum uptime and performance.
  • Manage Active Directory services, including user account management and group policy configuration, to secure and streamline IT environments.
  • Administer Windows Server environments to support business operations and IT infrastructure goals.
  • Conduct network diagnostics and repairs to optimize connectivity and support multi-location operations efficiently.
  • Deliver remote desktop support to resolve IT issues for users across various locations promptly and effectively.
  • Execute imaging and reimaging processes to prepare IT equipment for new deployments or to refresh existing setups.
  • Handle configuration and troubleshooting of Outlook and other email platforms to ensure reliable communication channels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
