Job summary

Ballance Agri-nutrients in Invercargill is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Electrician to maintain the electrical assets of the manufacturing line. The role requires NZ registration and experience on industrial sites, with fault-finding and preventative maintenance to minimise downtime.

You will work Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays, in a busy, safety‑conscious environment. A competitive salary of NZD 90,000–110,000 p.a. is offered, with relocation assistance where necessary.

Qualifications

• NZ Registered with current NZ Electricians Practicing License.
• Experience as an Industrial Electrician in a manufacturing site.
• Ability to work unsupervised under pressure during equipment breakdowns.
• Applying preventive & corrective maintenance to fixed plant assets.
• Collaborate with site teams to eliminate defects and extend asset lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults quickly to minimise downtime.
• Coordinate with Reliability, Production and National Support teams on improvements.
• Follow maintenance plans and use CMMS for accurate logs.
