Job summary

HealthCare NZ is seeking Casual Support Workers to assist clients in Wanaka during the holiday period. You will help clients live independently at home and in the community, following care plans and providing practical and emotional support.

We value a caring attitude and excellent communication. Healthcare qualifications are advantageous, and a valid NZ driver’s licence with reliable transport is required for most roles.

Qualifications

• Availability Nov to Feb required.
• Attitude to help and support others, achieving excellence.
• Previous healthcare or care-giving experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Healthcare qualifications advantageous.
• Full NZ drivers' licence and reliable transport required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living and personal goals within their homes and community.
• Follow care plans and provide both practical and emotional support.
• Meal preparation, outings, medication administration, personal cares, home management.
