Job summary

Te Kura o Ōpāwaho – Opawa School in Canterbury seeks a full-time fixed-term learning support practitioner to support and include ākonga with diverse needs in Years 1–8.

You will hold NZ teacher registration with a current practising certificate, and bring experience in learning support, inclusive education and differentiated teaching, with a strong focus on collaboration with whānau and culturally responsive practice.

Qualifications

• NZ teacher registration with a current practising certificate.
• Experience in learning support, inclusive education and differentiated teaching.
• Proven experience supporting and including ākonga with learning support needs in the classroom.
• Commitment to culturally responsive support upholding Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
• Coaching skills and ability to utilise staff strengths.
